IP blocked from sedo because of DRT

    I am really frustrated

I used DRT to scan my domains to make sure they are ok.

Once a month or so, sedo blocks my IP from going into sedo, parked pages, or even the admin for almost a WEEK!

i need to get in the admin to work on optimization but, can't

    any ideas??????

    thanks

    Yes. Don't scan them.

What are you trying to achieve by scanning them?

What do you mean to "make sure there ok" can't you just check sedo stats?

i make sure that they are resolving at the appropriate ip's, that my email address is in the whois info, and if there are any great differences in ranking numbers. I also use it to prompt me for renewals so I can budget them out. I know I can see them at all the various registrar's, but, this allows me to see them put in one place.

Not scanning is really not an option...

No one else scans their own domains in bulk??

    thanks again

hmm well if the sedo stats aren't out of whack, you know it's resolving ok. why would you want to verify whois details when does it ever change.

First call sedo/ contact your rep and explain... you are not the first ...

Always use proxies with DRT ... always ..

You could always login to Sedo via a proxy in the short term.

Scanning your domains is a good idea IMO ... easy way of keeping tabs on them , especially against theft etc ... ( maybe you should just scan your most valuable domains as a regular event ) ... again always use proxies
