It's that time of the year again

sedo PPC seems to have reached single digits again. What is going on, paying the programmers more to fix the glitches?

in contrast Theo... my rev is up, compared to this time last month.

but i don't want to jinx it

i've noticed some names which got lower epc last month are getting higher epc this month

though this can be attributed to the differences of our individual names

i've also added more names this month, but i do that every month

perhaps some that were added this month are just more productive than last month's entries

hopefully yours will get better, when or if advertisers start spending more.

maybe it's time for a keyword review?

It's time for a move away from sedo.

PPC is low. Traffic is steady. Clicks are the same. Therefore, the culprit is how sedo pays. I am not going to change the keyword if it's the appropriate one.

Unfortunately after 2 days of $0.11 averages, today's back to $0.09
As before, traffic is steady - PPC is lower than Bush's approval rating.

It's also about time sedo responded. I am sure I am not the only one with this type of issue.

    Thanks for the laugh

But seriously, I averaged more than $0.25 per click and now it's 9 copper pieces...

Agree with Acro, some generics that usually perform well lost about 30% rev in the past month, I'm noticing a similar trend at park but at a smaller percentage.

Is it Oktoberfest in Munich yet?

Yesterday average was $0.08 and today so far it's $0.05
Is sedo the next NameDrive in terms of sub-dime PPC?
Why there has been no response from sedo on the subject?
Every penny that doesn't go in our pockets goes somewhere else.

I'd love to see legislation requiring transparency of the entire PPC industry.

    Talking

I occasionally put some of my bankruptcy & foreclosure websites into sedo & nd ppc. The PPC there is usually between $1.25 and $2.00
Last month sedo paid $1.30 for 700 clicks & suddenly the price dropped to 10c overnight on all of them.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!

Exactly. The rest of the usual canned responses such as "optimize your keywords again" is just BS. The traffic is not an issue, the CTR is not an issue; the PPC is.

With a winning bid of 1.75$ Chichago woman won an auction for someone's abandoned home this lady paid 1.75$ for her click. Isn't it a bit low anyways?
Aren't some of the other things getting low such as confidence in financial institutions and the bottom they are sitting ATM on. Isn't unemployment hiking to get under year 2000.
Heck, even that $ currency rate, if it weren't for the elections, 10 today is none tomorow.
Maybe PPC industry corrected their view of the market, exagerrating a bit (just in case).
    Regards,

    Marin

Marin, what on earth are you talking about? I didn't say it's the economy, it's sedo trickling down less money to us. I don't have the same issues with Parked. With less and less per click at sedo, I might soon move my entire portfolio away from them.

I believe crying out loud won't change a thing.
I also believe they at sedo didn't do it because they want to spread their profit margin, rather its because they are trying to keep it the same as it was.
So yes, I believe it has to do with the economy and if my assumptions are real others (e.g. Parked with which there aren't problems) will follow example of Fab, sedo etc.
I've heard its a revenge because at last barbecue live auction in your backyard Sedo staff wasn't invited.

Marin, if you want to add something to this thread please only post while you're sober. I want to get sedo to change their attitude and posting in public is the best way to do it.
