Thumbs down Is this a joke???

These are my stats for the last two days at Sedo WITH SEDO PRO!

These are numbers I have never seen.

Today's stats are of this posting and timestamp since 6pm EST US.

And yesterday, a grand total of 12 clicks???

What on earth is going on???

Someone tell me that this is not just me experiencing this.

No such problems here. But curious, how many domains are there?

Just checked - now one click per 48 visits...whopping 2.08%.

Currently there are 192 domains in my portfolio getting hits at Sedo.

This is pathetic.

I have a feeling this has to do with their auto landing scheme. I should just have ignored that option.

OMFG!

I didn't enable this feature, introduced in a recent email. There's no way I'm beta-testing this crap.

BTW it's now 3am Eastern Someone needs to fix the clock.

This AUTO SELECT is a joke!

Thank God I was able to deselect it.

It is supposed to be for layouts but it autoselected the keywords also...ALL OF THEM!

It changed every damn keyword I had entered.

Imagine this:

(xxxx)ware.com... a medical specialty domain for Medical Billing paying as much as $9.58 per click and currently paying $5.25 per click

Keywords were fixed to that select market.

Looking at it a few moments ago, what did I see?

Ads for Dinner Ware, Fiesta Ware, and how to decorate for your table.

And then there is this little disclaimer in the PR statement:

Since the domain needs to receive a certain amount of traffic before our system can determine the optimal layout, make sure that you allow some time (minimum of 1 week up to 4 weeks) on the new setting before evaluating whether or not it's brought the benefit that you were looking for.

Hells Bells, two days of this nonsense was enough for me!

Hello Doc Com,

I apologize for the loss in earnings. Since the new auto-lander option was introduced, we have not yet received enough feedback to completely assess its effects.

However, as you received in the mailing regarding the new auto layout, make sure that you allow some time (minimum of 1 week up to 4 weeks) on the new setting before evaluating whether or not it's brought the benefit that you were looking for.

Thanks for your patience. Any other issues, please let me know.

Thanks,
Monica

I think the problem is the automation of keyword selection; can we have an option that by default only affects the layouts?

The primary issue here as pointed out earlier, it auto selected KEYWORDS.

Not just the landing page.

I don't have 1 day let along one week or (gasp!) four weeks to let the bugs get worked out. Not when I see my portfolio at a CTR of 2.00% and revenue at least -80%.

Trust me, that was a frightening page when I looked at it.

It's amazing that Sedo expects everyone to take a 1-month hit on profits to test-out their *improved* service.

It should be alarming to Sedo that there service is providing such poor results. If it is true that it could take up to four weeks then I'll never use the service for fear of having to lose revenue for an entire month!

We split the commission with the parking service under the auspice that in return they'll provide us a way to monetize our sites. Any parking service that could require a $3,000+ loss in revenue just to switch to their service is crazy.

Are you sure it's changing keywords automatically? I enabled the Auto-Layout feature several days ago and haven't seen any changes in my keywords, only landings.

Beyond any doubt whatsoever...YES!

In the example I pointed out, simply because the domain name contained the letters WARE, the new system read it and interpreted it to Dinner Ware and EVERY link was Mikasa, Fiesta, Pfalzgraff, or stuff like that.

What was once medical billing software links were gone. Those that were paying between $5-$9 per click vanished.

When I opted to turn off the auto-select feature, once the site servers caught up with my request, the original medical links re-appeared.

I checked several sites that were getting hits (nearly 200) and this was indeed the case.

Is that Chris Farley avatar?

Perhaps it is a server issue or has to do with locale/region.

I just could not see my CTR and overall traffic take a hit like post one.
