I was trying to indicate the schemes that sedo is running
If you are new to domains and looking to buy, sell and learn about domains then you have come to the right place. DNForum is the largest domain name community on the internet and continues to grow every day. There are over 105,000 domainers on DNForum doing everything from buying domains, selling domains, learning about domains and discussing domains. Take a minute and Register.
Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!Today I have uncovered an issue with sedo that has allowed a major traffic fraud to occur. This is further proven by the amount of traffic that a 3 char domain name has received.
It involves Flash, that redirects to one site and then proxies via a huge proxie list. I managed to decompile the Flash and trace the redirects.
I am not going to chase sedo about this, so if they are interested then please pm me for the domain and the details.
I will inform the other parking programs of this issue, and expose the problem in great detail in 48 hours, to give SEDO a chance to fix the problem.

Traffic Fraud hurts honest domainers and should be exposed. Normally I would not bother if it was only effecting sedo as I dont park with them, however this fraud is being carried out on Parked.com and DomainSponsor.com

A few year back I noticed clicks coming in from a range of IP's each day, I had a problem with my broadband account and start using dialup and used a different one each night and noticed the IP's I was getting were the same as those clicking on my Ads.
What people seem to be doing is using dialup to get a new IP address then they go through clicking on their own ads.
I found 6 ISP's with 6 totally different IP addresses, the rest had very similar IP's.
IPS may change but the cookie remains the same

PM me details too![]()
I'm buying credit, banking, loan, insurance related generics in .com, .net, .org with high search volumes/traffic. Will consider typos too! - PLEASE PM with name, info, & asking price!
I agree.. Traffic fraud hurts the buyers and the honest domainers out there.
All I can say at this time is to beware of any 3char .orgs at sedo and do due dilligence on the high traffic claims.

The mere fact that 3-char .ORG domains make it to sedo says it all.
Contacted Matt Bentley and they are to take action. Another scammer removed, would be good if sedo could share the domains under that account with the other programs.
I have alerted them all other programs with the domains just in case

i dont use sedo anymore....
Domaining to the max.
I think fraud happens everywhere..the best defense is common sense..like users that have mobi domains with any significant traffic or some BS like 324235.org that gets traffic...
indeed they are pretty bad at PPC. actually they suck at it.
BUT, they do sell domains.
why can't some company do both???
I remember when I used to get a reply within 12 hours.
Now it is like 3 weeks......
but this trend seems to be global.
I use to get fast replies from Moniker, Enom (not PPC related), still, it seems like the industry standard is going down.
and this is at a time where competition is full blown.
doesnt make sense.
