SEDO Click rate....

I would like to know other memebers' average 'Click rate' for their domains at sedo...

It would be better if you could categorize them as follows...

1. Gambling/Casino/ Sports betting
2. Web Hosting / Web design
3. Home business / Home based business
4. Adult
5. Other

I am interested only in "Click rate", NOT number of clicks or views.
Also, only consider the domains getting atleast 5 views/day

I have about 200 .co.uk domains and my average click rate is about 15 per cent. My best domains have a click rate of about 60 per cent - these are mainly very specific domains e.g. particular travel domains.

i guess it really depends on the traffic. i get as high as 20 - 25% click thru rate in property, finance traffic that points to the correct respective category.

For useless traffic, sometimes you dont even get 5% ctr even if the traffic is high. Or when you point to wrong category.

And sometimes sedo change my keyword for no reason which makes me lose revenue on valuable good traffic.

My average numbers are:

Adult : 21%
Sports : 9%
Business: 5%
Others (Entertaiment) : 8%

Values were much lower until I changed the kewords to be very specific to the domain name. I'm still trying to get the right combination of keywords to improve the click thru rate.

i would say, it depends on your names - if the name is generic or if it has already traffic (former website) or typos - the clicks are good.

music ( 28 % , 28 % , 32 % ) these are my best ones
specific products are usually very good (generic one worder ) getting up to 60 %
adult is o.k with 10 % - 18 %
travel or sports doesn't work for me well : 0.88 % to 5 % (no matter what keywords i use ,and i know i drive sedo crazy by changing them every few weeks)

I just use a redirect service and "point" it to the keywork that I want, like for orrgy.com, they would not let me use "orgy", instead wanted just XXX, so I just pointed to that keyword.

Depends on the name, keywords applied, and other factors. Mine starts from a few % up to 50 % (avrg. 17%). However, click rate is not my main problem. As I park ccTLDs mostly I get the lowest possible €/click (3c) whatever I do with my domains. Always the lowest, hmm. Suggestions welcome, by the way

I think so. However with my traffic I am satisfied even with 3c per click. No problem. But because I use english keywords I am just thinking why I got only 3c when visitors click english advertisements? Does it mean that I'd get more if someone clicked from US or Canada or so? I dont know much about the mechanism which transforms clicks into revenue/click. Just curious, hmm.

Sounds great I think this is because people from US click links more firmly then people from other countries (I know: biz is biz)

I get 50-100% on a lot of low-traffic, but targeted names.

I also have a large batch from 10-30% and the rest being minimal.

I shoot for a 10% CTR for each individual domain name.

Overall across all domains, I get about 7.x %. I am always monkeying with keywords to get percentages up.

On all my names, I'm averaging 14% click through... with over 150 names...

My highest being 72% on name that has gotten 32 visits and 23 clicks. My highest traffic name gets around 20% which I think isn't bad at all!!
