" a sedo broker bid UK account managers by working on behalf of the buyer mistakenly bid £1000, when the buyer had specified his maximum was £750. Therefore he had to cancel the auction. It would appear this was genuine human error, however he should have contacted you immediately to explain the situation and I apologize for this.

So instead of sedo making this right they just cancelled the auction..perhaps the buyer didn't want the transction public..

Either way the bid of £750 should of been binding being it was authorized by the buyer..instead sedo's response was

So what we can do for you, is to list the domain in a new auction for a reserve of £750 (around $1500). We will also add the domain to all featured listings pages. The buyer who was willing to bid £750 will of cours be informed and invited to bid again. This will maximize your chances of achieving a sale.

Why wasn't the buyers bid of £750 binding ?? only sedo knows..draw you own conclusions
