Randy Johnson hits win #300!

He finally did it!

http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/events/johnson300/index.jsp

This is one of the few baseball players today I'd call a "classic player".

He finally hit win #300 last night and in a press conference last night he said "Now I only have 200 more to catch up to Cy Young" (with a smirk on his face).

I knew I liked him for a reason.

I'm also glad I bought a set of his rookie cards (Upper Deck, Topps, Donruss, and Fleer) months ago for $10.

Classic player ineed. Also was one of the more overpowering pitchers on the list, as opposed to finesse like Maddux. Should be in the HOF down the line imo..

I didn't notice this before:

Career strikeout leaders

1. Nolan Ryan 5,714
2. R. Johnson 4,845

Averaging 240 a year, it'll take him only what, 3-4 more years to beat Ryan?
