Germany is having a monster of a game, first goal was a laser and best one in the World Cup thus far.. imo

Watching, great game so far.
Germany 4-0 Australia
Best game so far, looking forward to Italy - Paraguay tomorrow!
The 4 goals given up in 14 qualifying matches statistic by Australia says something about the caliber of the German team, but to be fair, 2 of the goals were given up after Cahill was sent off in the 56th minute. Still an overwhelming performance, if they weren't the favorites to win the cup they are now imo..

Germany is a much better team than Australia. There was a couple of times the Germans should have scored and didn't so you can see it would have been a bigger blowout than it was. The Cahill penalty was a disgrace IMO.
BTW...When watching it on TV there was some buzzing noise going on the whole time. Anybody know what it was. Very irritating!!!
I am so pissed. Service was interrupted by storms here. DishNetwork. Never had any down time with DirectTV. NEVER!
Happening way too often with Dish. Missed three goals.
Was able to monitor activity on the internet but not the same.
I will be contacting DirectTV as they sent me a flyer wanting me back and will pay disconnect fee from Dish.
It's called Vuvuzelas and it's very annoying.
I saw it on cable so didn't experience any such noise. Definitely a great game, shame that Australia-based Fabulous is now going to treat Germans differently![]()
I did manage to see some news online stating that there was serious talks to banning these in the stadiums.
I love the cheering and celebrations, but they are and can be quite overwhelming.
Someone(s) is making a killing on these.
Hundreds of thousands have been sold, cost pennies to make, and are selling in the $10-$14USD range each.
Not as annoying as doing the wave![]()
Now, THIS is a wave!

It first showed up as a superbowl commercial and now revived into the World Cup 2010
