Watching NED v BRA at the moment. Got my National Dutch Jersey on. But I do think Brazil will take this game in strong fashion. That first goal was a HUGE let down in defense.
Honestly, I think the Brazilians want this more than anyone as they will be Hosting the World Cup in 2014.
What a way to defend the title than on your home turf.
Seems like they have been on the attack from moment one.
That is what impresses me about the South American teams...they don't lay back. Attack, attack, attack.

omg! RED CARD!
And well deserving with those cleats.
wow, that was exciting! They should have gone for the full kill at the end though. 3-1 even 4 was possible in the end.
I thought the officiating was SUPERB!
He let them play the way big boys do.
He warned the players for the most part of the first ten minutes.
Honestly, he did not miss a thing and intervened immediately to verbally warn rather than card.
This was one of the few games I have seen that was not about the ref.
The red card was very deserving for putting the spikes into a player's thigh while he was on the ground.
And there certainly could have been an additional one towards the finale for the same offense, this time to the calf of a Dutch player.
Fabulous game all around.
I agree, all in all the ref. was good. Too bad 2 Dutch players got yellow cards and can't play the next game.
I was not really paying attention to totals and did not realize they had 2 yellows booked against them.

I have to agree...the Argentina team may be the team to beat. They certainly have put up enough goals thus far.

Ghana is SCAREY fast. WOW!
Uruguay and Ghana both have a very good and fast attack offense.
Both Van der Wiel and De Jong already carried a yellow card from an earlier match. I especially liked De Jong for strong defensive actions and Van der Wiel is pretty good as a attacking back.
At least Uruquay lost Suarez, so their attack is weakened. Too bad for Ghana though, they showed some guts.
As for Argentina; they seem to play pretty solid. Their next game against Germany could be really exciting.
