I don't think I've bid on a name for about 3 years or so. I still hold quite a few names but now I'm mostly working on developing them and backlinking. So I've come full circle and need to get some PR names to accent my linking strategies. (read I'm still lazy and just looking for shortcuts)

So first, has anything changed with the domain life cycle? Is it safe to assume that nothing obscene like WLS was implemented?
