Anyone use Mosso.com or Rackspace.com???
Does or has anyone here used hosting services provided by MOSSO.com or Rackspace.com???

I am doing some due diligence for a major start up and need some raw professional opinions on these two hosts.

Thank you in advance for any input provided.

Stay away from Rackspace please.

Rackspace.com its the top of the top. No one beats 'em not even close. Its the Ferrari of the hosting.

Well I have heard mosso has some problems (from WHT), but rackspace is very good. Expensive but good.

You may also want to check out Datapipe. Excellent services and connectivity as well.

I have 3 machines @ fdcservers.net
Very happy with them, very geeky, they got shitload of bandwidth

Rasckspace is like "Godaddy of servers" - for the crowds...

Thanks to everyone that responded to this thread!

We are trying ( our plans are now for Q108) to launch a series of boutique classified sites and we are still looking for a hosting solution.

I have heard GREAT things about RackSpace and SO-SO things about Mosso. I just want a cost competitive hosting solution that has exceptional support as hosting is NOT our expertise.

Please feel free to mention other Hosting Solutions that we can research and do our due diligence on.

I think Rackspace does not offer hosting, they offer dedicated servers.
For support and security I would recommend pair.com
