Thumbs down Charger Technologies (india and US) .....bad experience

I decided to try a cheapo account at Charger Tek in India because I saw a few replys he had saying that he hosted proxys.

I applied at the india site and got an account right away....cheap only 3 bucks. Went to set everything up and about an hour later they went down. Site was down for days and no replies to emails. Thier main site was down too.

Finally replied 2 days later saying it was "working no problem for them and to try and access my site through a proxy". ??? WTF? Like I would want to use a proxy to get to my proxy site? Ironic eh?

Anyway, after I asked for the account to be closed and a refund they finally ponied up that they had moved servers and that my account was down (now they admin it). And they offered a 7 day extension or a refund less some paypal tax (which is a crock too...paypal never charges anything on a refund).

Needless to say I started a paypal disput to get my 3 clams back....don't waste your time.

On a side note...I applied for another account at the charger tech US (their US counterpart I presume). 3 days and the account never even got setup. Control panel never worked. I mailed several times with no answer. I emailed demanding the account closed and a refund and they did it within an hour....still without sending me a single email.

Sheesh!
