    I started with Hostgator shared Hosting in 2007. They were great up until I started getting real traffic. Their unlimited plans do have limits - CPU usage and inodes. I then moved to 100tb.com dedicated for a year. Great provider, but I realized I wasn't a real sysadmim (a tad on the expensive side as well). So, I switched to a semi-managed custom VPS with ioflood.com at the start of the year which actually performs better than my old dedicated server. I also have active hosting accounts with hawkhost.com, sharkspace.com, and stablehost.com -- all great for shared hosting which I use for smaller, less resource intensive wordpress driven sites. But for real power, I choose ioflood. Hope this helps!

    LeaseWeb was a good solution for a dediservers too , we have been with them with one adult website with high traffic and it was fast as hell !I can recommend them

    I currently use HostMonster but due to recent changes I have to leave them.

    They now limit you to 1,000 total database tables in your account. While this may seem like a lot, imagine that is enough for 30-40 Wordpress sites. 25-30 Joomla sites, and maybe 40ish SMF forums.

    I was at 1800 tables and had to get rid of all inactive sites (which I was going to do) plus several active ones or else they were going to terminate my account. I am now barely under the 1000 limit so I have no room for expansion now.

    Their uptime has also been not too great recently - 2-3 times a week none of my sites are accessible plus more than onve all my files got wiped. They blamed a hacker but refused to give me access logs for the account.
