Country: | Go Daddy hosting help I have recently opened an economy hosting account with Go Daddy with the intention of having multiple domains on there. First site up and running ok then added 4 more domains , this is where I am confused. Where do I upload the new content to ? Can I just ftp to the additional domain addresses ? The reason I am concerned is in the (GoDaddy) file manager there is just a list of all the current pages . If I upload another page where there is a repeat of names like index will they not be overidden. All though the ftp addresses will be different all the account names and passwords are the same so I can't work out what will happen. Can anyone point me in the right direction can't seem to find any support pages and don't want to overwrite my content ![]() |

DNF$: 100 Location: Cedar Rapids | When you're in the hosting control center, click on the manage domains button. you can add a domain from there and it puts each into a new subfolder under the main account. All files for that name then go into to appropriate subfolder |

What was confusing me I guess is all the pages/content from the first site have been added to all the other domains so any subfolder I click on then go on content / filemanager brings up all the same pages. Thanks will have a go Last edited by rover; 08-29-2008 at 11:47 AM.. Reason: spell error | |

Country: | The domains when added should create sub directories for each domain. It should be a partial name or a full name of the domain. They will be empty directories that you can upload your files to. The first domain you may add may be in the root directory when you first login to ftp which is where the confusion maybe. |

DNF$: 145 Location: san carlos, CA | I had to manually create the subdirectories, after first using the conrol panel to add my new domains. It seemed odd but that fixed it. Then you load your sites into each subdirectory.
