    Godaddy Hosting

Has anyone tried using GoDaddy as a Hosting provider? Anyone's thoughts?

    Re: Godaddy Hosting

I have tried them out when they first offered it. Nothing fancy but not exactly bad I must say. HOWEVER, I would not recommend using a registrar for Hosting, just as you shouldn't register a domain with your host. I guess the conventional wisdom applies here: never put your eggs in one basket.
Profoundly influenced by #Bauhaus, @Nameslave unrepentantly embraces #Minimalism in his #multimedia portfolio. His early works include an experimental adaptation of Chekhov’s Cherry Orchard inspired at least partly by Robert Fripp. His totally irrelevant M.Ed. dissertation examines Organizational Culture and Change Management.

Actually, I have a Hosting account with them and it is not bad. I dont like their interface in general but the uptime seems fine. I dont see anything actually wrong with it. To tell you the truth the prices are not really that bad either. All in all I would say it is ok but if I had to do over again I would have bought from another company that was focused on just hosting. I would rather give my money to a small company that focused on service then on a big company that focused on quantity.

    - the tickets from control pannel disappeare in dev/null (got no answer for 6 tickets)
    - the answers from support@.. walking wrom department to departmen

This is usual picture for BIG companies. As a result second month can't install new webshop...

Hosting plans aren't bad, not every host has everything you wan't, i wish GD allowed database table locks on their mysql databases, other than that everything else is going pretty good.
