Hosting Question: how to host 1,000 domains and do BULK UPDATES?

I have most of my domains at goaddy. I dont mind their UI and their hosting is fine.

But: I have to enter domains into hosting one at a time; and then ftp, one at a time.

I want a hosting plan that does this - can someone recommend 1 or 2 companies - send me your affiliate link, thats fine - I want:

1) good price, unlimited domains. I dont have high traffic

2) i can upload a list of domains, preferably by spreadsheet, and they all get hosted with some defaults.

3) I can upload the same index.html file to every one of them. It might change later, on in individual basis, but first they all get the same index.html file.

4) i can do it all myself, no help needed from support; so later, i can do it again if i have a new group of 50 or 100 domains, etc.

Godaddy definitely cant do this for me, which is too bad. I wanted to centralize everything in one place. Godaddy is not yet setup for the bulk domainer. They still have a very short account timeout too, which makes no sense on large accounts.

Recommendations for a good hosting service, please?

Kevin

I like to know this as well, but to my knowledge, it is not possible.

You need to create individual accounts for each domain and then you need to upload the file yourself.

or you can setup a package and you can make that file as part of the package so, every time you create a hosting account, that file is automatically uploaded.

But as for the hosting account, you need to create it

You would probably be best off with a parking script. Search the forums, seen a few advertised here. Don't know if godaddy hosting would support the script, might need your own server/vps.

With Hostgator you need to upload one domain at the time.
