    Hosting Restrictions for Intl. TLD's?

Is there some kind of Hosting restrictions for International TLD's?

For example, I am trying to change the servers to my hosting account (us servers) for one of my "*.de" domain names and it Won't change. It keeps going back to sedo's parking servers.

    Thanks,

Re: Hosting Restrictions for Intl. TLD's?

make sure you have properly changed the nameservers of the domain to your Hosting provider's one . If you have done so, sometimes it takes bit times to be propagated properly . If it is that so, better to contact the domain registrar .

    Hope this helps .

There may be registry requirements for certains TLDs. In the case of .de I believe you need at least 2 name servers and they must not be within the same C class IP range.
You need to check if your new NS fit the requirements.

Re: Hosting Restrictions for Intl. TLD's?

    Thanks for the help.

I have emailed the registrar -- but who knows when they will email back.

Anyway, I'm using 2 nameservers, but they are in the same IP range (I think)
They're on a cheapy reseller account.

I'm going to try my other reseller account -- maybe it will stick.

I might have to get a special Hosting account just for the *.de domains I have.

If anyone is an affiliate for one -- Reseller, 2 servers in different IP ranges, post or pm your affiliate link.

    Thanks
