Websites hosted in China are generally significantly slower to load from here (Canada); so unless your targeted audience are in China, I don't see any good reason to have your websites hosted there.
Profoundly influenced by #Bauhaus, Nameslave unrepentantly embraces Minimalism in his #multimedia portfolio. His early works include an experimental adaptation of Chekhov’s Cherry Orchard using the #Minimalist method inspired at least partly by the music of Robert Fripp. His totally irrelevant M.Ed. dissertation examines Organizational Culture and Change Management.

i would never host in china, too much censorship etc
Thats an idea! Prices have to be much much cheaper like everything from China.
Well I am not sure how accurate I am with this however I feel that China is currently number one market base for many free services such as free Hosting, free email etc.
Whenever we launch a free service, it simply gets invaded by chinese members within a very short period of time and unfortunately it sometimes becomes a bit of nusance with all the spamming etc. involved.

Haha, no- not in terms of infrastructure-demanding businesses, at least.Originally Posted by ForumDomains
The problem with China is that they don't have quite the same networking/bandwidth infrastructure that the U.S. does. Decent bandwidth in the U.S. costs ~$20/mbps/month if a datacenter buys in bulk (generally, 1000 mbps/month can run about 100,000 websites), but it costs about five to ten times that in China. Hence, your cheapest Hosting companies will probably be in the U.S. or other heavily developed countries.
From my understanding, if something's illegal in the U.S., it'll probably also be illegal in China- unless you're running a website for the U.S. branch of the Communist Party.
