Well, this is one reason I personally avoid front page, it limits your choice of hosts too much. If the only reason you are using front page is for the form support, I would dump front page and use one of the other offered solutions you got.
They (DreamHost) used NOT to support FrontPage AT ALL. They were actually founded by a bunch of designers and programmers, and you know what these people would think of FrontPage ... LOL! Anyway, I would also urge you to dump FrontPage altogether, not just for a cheaper Hosting price. If it is just for a website like genericz.com, you can probably handle that in a short while.

Well I have another little project lined up but nothing to do with Genericz, although I suppose I could have a little practice with it first on Genericz, before designing my new project.
I have heard so many conflicting stories about the Frontpage series i think i may just go ahead with it anyway, and learn from my own experiences. In the end I could probably sell it on to someone else if I dont like it, and get something like dreamweaver???

yeah you should go for DreamWeaver, although I've heard that MS is planning to make a "competitive software" out of FrontPage in the near future....

Go with DW instead. You won't regret it...consider it a GOOD learning experience.
There is a reason why FP is cheaper...it's garbage. You will just get DW eventually anyways.
