1). BlueHost.com - Which is roughly $7.95/month
2). ThirdSphere.com - Which is $24.95/month
ThirdSphere appears to offer more options although $24.95/month seems to be a lot.
I want to build a website where ease of use is my main concern (being a newbie and all).
Thanks in advance for your input!!!![]()
I wouldn't go with either. First, where are you located and what type of site(s) are you planning on creating? The reason I ask is because is most of your business is going to be done in the US, you will want a host located in the US. If most of your business is being done overseas, you will want a host located over there. This way your customers will receive the fastest loading times and no lag.
If it is for personal use, I would stay away from expensive plans or plans offering UNLIMITED everything. There is no such thing. Start with a small package and upgrade as you need more resourses. This way you are not paying for something you aren't using.
I highly recommend LunarPages fo Hosting. They have CPanel, and Fantastico for easy install and upgrade of software like Wordpress. They're currently running a winter special: unlimited space, unlimited bandwidth, and unlimited add-on domains for $4.95 per month. Sign up for a year and you get a free domain reg. Their support is also excellent. I've been with them for over 5 years.
Full disclosure: above is my affiliate link

They are located in Canada.

For beginner, GoDaddy has good and easy do-yourself host program. From my point of view, its costumer service is good. Also, JDK gave you good advise
I've been using HostGator for a while now and I am very satisfied.
streamline.net offer a 3 month trial which will also give you a free mysql database, you get to choose if you want unix or windows server. I think they're a bit pricey after the trial period... but can't argue with 3 months free Hosting. You only pay if you decide to stay with them after 3 months.
As I'm getting into domaining I have a few domains now that I'd like to get up and running, instead of just parked earning others money.
streamline.net charge per extra domain you want to add in the trial period which isn't great, so I've decided to give hostgator a try as pcprof suggested, checking their website they offer unlimited domains for just $10 a month. In case you're interested by a google search I managed to find this code hgcouponblog which gives you the first month for 1 cent...
it's from this website - http://www.hostgatorcoupon.com/ was posted last year but still appears to work.

I would definitely recommend HostGator if cPanel is important to you. Good prices, great support, and I've NEVER had any downtime.
If you don't really need cPanel then I'd recommend DreamHost.
