Some Questions about Reseller Hosting?

I am planning to get a reseller Hosting plan.

What criteria should one keep in mind while selecting the same.
What problems do one generally face in a reseller hosting.
Whats the best feature you came across with your Hosting company.

I dont ever face problems! Everyone once in a while I have to watch my bandwidth (40gb) but other wise its not bad at all. My reseller account is probley the cheapest around with the best quality and support by phone, email, and IM.

never go for accounts that offer unlimited space or bandwidth as there is no such thing. make sure to check the company out, (best place to go is WHT forum and do a search for there company name and see if it turns up any info about them, if not make a post and ask if anyone has used them, addy is: http://www.webhostingtalk.com ) read through the Hosting company fourms and see how happy there customers are and if there are problems, and test there help support by pretending to be a current customer (if possible) that way you will find out what they are like. remember that YOU are resoponsable for your customers, ie if they upload illegal content or if they spam, your host may suspend your reseller account while they investigate. you should also know abit about webhosting before getting involved, remember its you who the customers will be asking questions to. on the up side though you dont have to worry about managing a server and making sure it runs smoothly and updating software etc, also most hosting companies will be helpfull and answer your questions. last bit of advice is that if you have the option of paying monthly or yearly you should choose monthly as if anything happeneds to the company thats your money and your customers money gone and you will end up with a lot of angry customers.

I am very satisfied with my reseller Hosting company. Very reasonable and very good uptime. The first thing to look for in any hosting company is the support. Even if the hosting is very very cheap, its no use if you dont hear from the support team when you have problems. The second thing to look for is reliability. Choose a company which is in business for atleast 6 to 12 months.

I pay less than $15 for 3GB disk space/50GB b/w rest all unlimited. Not sure if I can post the hosting company link here, PM me if you want it

I have never offered reseller Hosting for one reason only look at Angelnetwork where are they now.

I personaly think it causes too many problems but alot of hosts quite like it and the customers are satisfied.

Remember only go with well known companys. Sorry to say that about the new ones but now adays far too many people are starting up hosting companys at the age of 13-16 and the companys are either sold on or die out and all the customers loose there data simply because these people do not want to keep running the company or they cannot afford it. So make your choice wisely you dont want to get the cheapest one, setup and then a few months later your data is lost without a trace of the owner.
