Does anyone know the market share of these two operating systems in regard to servers online.
Im thinking linux is bigger but I maybe wrong.
I would tend to lean the same way. If I had to guess I would say 60 -70% linux.
... that's a difficult question. I would say in the category of webservers linux is bigger - I would also say about 60% ... because there're still a lot of expensive unix servers online![]()
I'm suprised. I'd expect at least 80% to linux. Everything just works better. cPanel, scripts, everything. Its also a better operating system for home use too.

linux is the biggest.
I think Window has a lot of security and convenient applications as well as more compatible, but cost a lot! (small but more security and service)
I used to use Linux but a lot of peoples know about .php etc, so I am not sure the security of Linux, compatible, but cheap. (big but less security and service)
