Today, i coded it as well, only a little though, just some CSS work to jazz it up a bit, what do you guys think would be the best kind of site to use this with?

kinda hard to read...no offense but it looks very amateurish
None taken, there is always room for improvement , so i always keep that in mind, keep the critiques comming, good or bad, it would help me improve.

Good work -- wish I could do that stuff. I would suggest that the font is too thin in places and becomes pixelated against the dark background.
Personally I think for someone learning their trade this a great effort, the only thing I would say straight away is the font you have used for links,shoutbox, content is just not nice at all at that size. It works fine as a header for the banner at the top......and I doubt you are gonna need 13 links heheheeh spread them out and use less links.
Other than that it really is a nice individual website and its good to see someone learning to walk before they try to fly.....slowly, slowly catchy monkey.
