The scotland flag is blue with a white cross (as seen to the left on my author pane area). I intend to turn this website into a shop that sells organic produce from across Scotland. The ripped paper effect is very rough at the moment, I intend to actually overlay a paper texture.
What do you think?

Not so much an identity as an oddball font just typed out and reversed out of its oddball background.
You want a logo, with a device of some sort, not just a typed out font. If it is just a typed out font, then it should be something classy. Say, something like seedsofchange.com. The background is rarely part of the identity and the identity should stand on its own in black and white. There's not going to be many people that see the Scotish flag in that.
Have a long look at logopond.com and understand what makes a good logo. Clarity and a device, usually either classy or whimsical. Do a search on there for "organic", "produce", etc. to see if there is anything that gets the creative juices flowing.
Good luck!
Thanks for your educated opinion Brad. I have changed the site somewhat, but I am going to make further changes in account of your comments.
