Out of the two names I think Blogs4me.com would do better as it is more descriptive off the two names and B4me.com is an abbreviated name.

I run a small free blogging community currently on the domain Blogs4me.com. I am currently optimizing the site for better search engine results. Just other day I picked up the domain name B4me.com after it expired. “B4me” is the nickname of my site used by most of my user base. I am curious which domain name would perform better in a search engine? Blogs4me.com or B4me.com?

Well it depends - see how many people search for "blogs for me" per month and do the math (I don't think that many). Anyway I think it's a bad idea to change a developed community's website - you have backlinks, PR and a lot more to loose. Just redirect the 2 other to blogs4me.
