does bing prefer a hyphenated .net?

I have 2 domains and i dont know why bing uses the hyphenated .net over the non-hyphenated .com. Anyone have an idea why?

bing doesn't have a decent algorithm that can rank web pages perfectly with or without a hyphen; if you get ranked - be happy - but don't try to understand how it works, coz even its own engineers don't know how it works

keep spamming and be found among top results in bing..

^ That's really funny, how their own engineers don't know how bing's algo works. lol I almost burst out my coffee on my laptop.hehe But I guess its because they're just a bit new and still getting a hang on things. Or they're just trying to figure out how google exactly works and try to copy it... (totally kidding)

Good Question. What do you mean by uses one over the other? Do they point to the same site? Or are they two different sites and only one is ranking?

This is a good question, and I'm not sure hyphens factor in a big deal with Bing...is there any thing eles that may have played a role in one ranking better than the other?

bings a waste of time really
google 1, then yahoo, the rest are left standing
and google is THE oneyou need to concentrate your efforts on

google can get a site of mine indexed in hours or at worst a couple days. yahoo is guaranteed a day, i have sites on first page of google and yahoo all over the place, yes theyre not even 'indexed' on bing
even though individually submitted to bing also
    it seems a joke outfit

I agree completely. Their search (or lack thereof) sucks. However, when msn/live/bing take over the search results for yahoo, if that passes (passed? anyone know?) regulatory approval, that would increase their market share enough to make it worth aiming for placement with them.
