    Google Reconsideration Request

    In my own personal experience, a domain would usually pop back into Google Search within a couple of days after filing a "reconsideration request". Lately it seems to be taking forever... perhaps they're currently backlogged?

    Anyone have any luck getting reindexed within the last couple of weeks?

    Open a Google Webmaster Tools account, and then click the "request reconsideration" link on the right side of the control panel.

    The last one I did took nine months. I had given up hope it would ever be indexed in google then suddenly a couple of weeks ago I noticed a spike in traffic and upon inspection not only had they finally indexed the website, they gave it a pr3.

    That's not a good sign. Perhaps I was lucky the few times I quickly popped back in.
