    Google webmaster tools, analysis

    Hello,

    Any help appreciated.

If anyone is familiar with page encoding and google shows be the following:

What is the encoding? Should I have all encoding the same type?

Also Google has spotted some crawl errors:

What is the best way to solve this. Some of the pages that I deleted aren't needed such as old .htm pages and a .pdf? If these pages are in googles index, should I replace them with something else, or should I include those url's in the robots.txt and ban google from going there?

I'm trying to work hard at the seo so if you have tips on this, please help...

    Thanks.

    anyone?

I'm sure someone here would know the best thing to do with broken indexed links and what the encoding is about?

    Any help?

    Re: Google webmaster tools, analysis

If the pages that are no longer there are indexed in Google you should replace them with a page something like::

"Opps sorry the pge you was looking for no longer exists, you will be redirected in 4 seconds."

This should sort out the problem.
