help lost my PR

help I lost my PR. IT was 6 and now it is 0.

we did get many backlinks and maybe google did not like
the increase in backlinks.

any way I can get an answer fro google on the lost PR reason

I doubt it was the problem of increasing backlinks. Maybe there was some other reason? Did you change whois information for the domain name recently?

Actually, if your backlinks rise to fast, they think you are cheating the system. Not sure if this is correct though.

You should not add too many incoming links during the same update.

Yep, so often there is just some little picky thing that is doing it which most developers will overlook. When in reality it's a huge no-no in Google's eye. Unfortunately, sometimes its not so cut and dry and it is REALLY picky what they may lower you for.

Btw, there's no direct evidence that this update is done. So, I would hold off from making any major changes just yet as you could still swing back around.

Maybe you are checking http:// vs. http://www.
You should definitely have a homepage redirect in your .hatccess file so google doesn't issue a duplicate content penalty, and so it gives PR to one domain, not two.
