HELP: Lost position top position in Google.

I had first page positions in both google and Yahoo (Still do in Yahoo)

For "Pick up women online" and "Pickup women online"

I made a few changes and then got more in bound links from my other sites many Adult with 2-4 PR using link text "Pick up women online".
Some of the sites are on the same server and some are not.

I also redesigned the pages look and graphics but I kept the same text or at least 90% and all keywords.

Now I can't find my page at all, but I still am in the index and I still show a page rank of 2.

I know these are a lot of variable but are there any experts on SEO, that could tell me which one of these things could cause it to drop like that. I can go back to the old page in a heartbeat but I am wondering if it is the linking.

I thought the inbound links where good. Googles Cache still shows the old version of the page.

The I change the design to get more opt-in subscribers and it did work but I lost google in the process.

Give it some time especially when you have redesigned the page.

show me where you got the new links and I will look at them google does not link links that are to related to much stay a way from buy links from those who advertise 3-to-x links from 3-to-x different sites google see these sites all link to the same sites and can pentize you for it.

Is that really how it works? I dont know... Im just asking.

I'd do that heartbeat revert to old page thing you are thinking about and make changes in sections. Tedious perhaps but I cant imagine any other way of figuring it out unless you did it slowly and thoroughly. Waiting it out wouldnt be worth the risk to me. But that's only because I dont know how much of an impact time will really have when competing for such a high page rank.

I'm thinking it's in those inbound links somewhere. I took a look at some of them and the top ones come from the www.sleazylive.com - wondering if this, being an adult site, is knocking you out because it's not all that relevant to online dating.

The guy who got the second spot on Google, become a player - his backlinks are dating, romance, penpals and blogs - no adult sites.

Might be a clue, might not, just thinking out loud.

looks like a profitable search term.

What did you do to get there? If you did borderline stuff just one wrong move could knock you over the edge and send you to the back of the SERP's

I'm currently at work so i didnt click on the link, but from a quick preliminary look I'm shocked that you even rank for any term in Google with that website, no offence but for SEO purpose, you need some level of updated feed specially if you plan to rank for dating sites, else Google will lose interest in crawling your website.

Try submitting some articles and a few press releases with some reputable firms which may cost per release, but they will be worth it, it shouldn’t take more than 3 month to gain some kind of ranking.
