Re: Hi,how to pass the dmoz.org verify?

How long should one wait before resending the application? Is once evey three months considered spam?

Re: Hi,how to pass the dmoz.org verify?

every time you resubmit you are sent to the back of the que, it can take a long time to get into dmoz, sometimes longer than a year, give it 6months and if your still not in http://resource-zone.com/ go there and asking bout your site, and yes it is worth it as your site will get crawled more as most search engines especially google start at dmoz and crawl all its links, and you will also have your links in a load of other directories that use dmoz content so you will gain many back links

Re: Hi,how to pass the dmoz.org verify?

I ended up getting my site listed in about a month. Weird thing about it though is I dont beleive they are updating their search feature. I can go to the directory and find my site listed then go to the search and it does not show in their search. ??? Weird. Does not much matter to me I guess since my site is up there.

Anyway, it seems like the more link backs your site has on it the faster it is picked up. This may not be true and was only my experience. Good luck in getting it listed.
