How can I improve on my ranking and keywords strategy????

Hi Guys,

I launched a new website a week ago www.appgiveaway.com how long does it take before you get a page rank and what more can I do to improve the general seo of the website.

Also in terms of SEO work already done on the appgiveaway.com site now, what marks would you give it?

pagerank is not the be all and end all, but it takes about 3-6 months, provided you have at least 1+ solid incoming links from a similar site...relevant site..

What have you done so far? Just worked a bit with keywords or have you paid for advertising or what? What stats program are you using or will use. This can help you target the keywords you are being organically searched for.

PR can take months,and its not really as important as some would have us think.
I would not use the same keywords on every page.

Spent some time daily adding "keyword" links to blogs and wherever I could post.

Links are king in SEO.But choosing the correct keywords must also be.Find low competition keywords that has traffic.

It seems to be generating alot of traffic for Keywords relevant to the site. I am all ears and would be interested in improving if there is room to improve that is.

Well, at least point out why you think it scores so badly as that is far more constructive.

Nice site. I like it a lot.

Keep getting those targeted links coming in. Pester similar sites for a link back to you. Relevant links = targeted traffic = success.

My suggestion is to think of your SEO efforts like different pieces that all make the whole. Do everything you can as a piece of the larger puzzle that will get results; submit to social bookmarks, create a lens on Squidoo, submit articles to directories, etc. etc. and all of it will add up over time to give you great rankings.

And don't forget to optimize your site itself - make sure the keywords you're targeting are the best ones possible and your site is clean and easy to index.

It does take time, but its best that you keep getting quality backlinks while waiting. Backlinks could really help a lot when it comes to PR. Low quality backlinks is just a waste of time, so focus more on making really quality ones.

I see major key words missing

apps
free
itunes
apple store
download

All apps come from iTunes and the Apple Store

None of those words were listing in your keywords/metatags.

This should give you a boost in traffic.

You should also be adding some adsense links.

In addition, go to the apps store and look at all the individual app categories listed. Add these as well to your meta tags.

And get widgets added as well to keywords.
