    Ignoring tld?

Someone told me that with seo it is possible to let the SE focus on the keyword ignoring the tld.

    Is it true?
If yes, how can I do it? How can I find some reference for it?

Put the server in the locale that you want to target.

Its more complex then just server.

    Rich Content.
    Good linkbacks.
    Proper keywords

And continus Content update . There are lot more things involved in getting on the first page...

    Re: Ignoring tld?

It helps, that's all I'm saying. That factor alone does not determine your serp.
There are millions of other variables that matter as well, some more than others...

    Re: Ignoring tld?

TLD, assuming you can't purchase the TLD which is more on track from what your targetting is only a small peice of the puzzle. You could invest you money and get 10x ROI focusing on another factor (there are a few extreme exampels where this is not true.) Basically... you can target anything you want, with anything, however you want (if you do it correctly) but you're talking about a lot of time, money and headaches if you want to compete with major market keyword terms...

ok people.. thanks for the answer..

What are the best free sources to learn more about SEO?
I have about 10 keyword.tld domains, and I'd like to sell some and develop some others..

    Re: Ignoring tld?

The best way to learn SEO IMO is to study a website which is ranking high for similiar keywords; and read everything you can about it and general SEO.

Keep in mind SEO is an ART form, not science. Depending on your budget, another option would be to hire some help. If you have really really nice domains and you don't know what your doing you COULD do harm to your domain...
