    Linking to parked domains

My company has about 95 domains which almost none of them are parked with the big guys.

I am recently looking at GoldKey, DomainSponsor, & sedo.

I "think" that the services that use my domain name instead of just redirecting to their server link is better for SEO.

    I'm just wondering

    1. Is it OK to put a static link on my other sites so the domain names gets indexed.
    2. Do these services have a way of getting your sites indexed if they aren't already?
    3. Is it bad for my existing sites to link to a parked domain?

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Re: Linking to parked domains

That seems to be the whole business model behind Goldkey... to get your pages indexed. However, I've been hearing a lot of unsatisfied customers lately, stating that they took a % of the money back.

I would have to give input case by case depending on the particular domain and parking service to let you know anything about a link giving you an benefit. In most cases, having a link won't hurt you... and if it does then that's a bad parking service... because what if one of your competitors were to put up a link to your site that you had no control over?

    Re: Linking to parked domains

If you read through the TOS of almost any of the PPC providers you will see "intentionally" linking to your parked domains is a violation.

For example this is in Fabulous TOS:
    (c) The Domain Name Owner shall not under any circumstances attempt to redirect internet traffic to the Domains from any other domain names they own or control.
    (d) The Domain Name Owner shall not under any circumstances, include hyperlinks to the Domain(s) or sub-domains of the Domain(s):

you will find the similar language at most all of them.

Yep, makes sense. They want to get the best conversions for their partners and if you are incentivizing click throughs from your own network or 'behind the scenes' on a locked forum, they are not going to get good conversions out of that. I would do the same thing if I were a parking service...
