One page websites

Will Google index a one page lander with an article of unique content and a couple of AdSense boxes? Or does it need to be a multi-page website?

I know I'll need backlinks and etc - assume all of that is there, will the site still get indexed and rank with only one page?

Yes it will get indexed and ranked eventually, but... If you plan to repeat it, may I suggest that you skip the whole idea?

When I first started to learn about SEO, I had the same idea. I didn't read any of those articles and still I dropped it... You should too... Simple as that... Doesn't seem like a sustainable business model.

You'll last only until someone manually reviews you. My opinion, but you know what they say about opinions...

I've ranked a blank domain on first page so yeah it's possible to rank one page website but as I said...

I've already had a manual review and they did nothing, and every one of my sites is MFA.

Google is notoriously secretive. Nobody knows why they take (or don't take) any action.

MFA can be a broad term, you can have a spectacular website that's monetized solely by adsense, so in a way, it's "MFA" but doesn't seem like that.

There probably is a line when they say "ok, it's good enough" or "sorry, you're out". Since you're asking here about one page websites, I guess you didn't pull it off yet, so I hope this doesn't make you go through that line and lose everything you made in the past.

It's ok if you're manually reviewed, probably means you're already making decent income with adsense, but expect additional occasional reviews. I wouldn't be surprised if they put you in the spotlight again sometime. Just because you're already reviewed, doesn't mean you can do whatever you want and clearly violate the TOS, and IMHO I think that one page websites do violate the TOS so be careful, that's all I've got to say...

I have some one pagers that stay at #1 on google, but mostly cj ads, not adsense.

You should build pages with more than one page of content, simply because it looks less likely to be an MFA site.

Additionally lets say you're pulling in a few dollars from this page, if you have another page (on a similar topic but not the same) you could increase visitors to your site to view this page to and increase your traffic and website earnings.

1 page sites are good if you're only targeting the main keyword. I have a bunch of them for small volume keywords and there is no reason to add more content there as there are no additoinal keywords to target.

Could be right I made a basic instructional video about a new product and added it to my blog. Almost a year later I still rank number one with very few links and a lot of competition from large sites.

yes I am

u spend some money and get a level 2 producer (they have 6 levels) and you put a youtube video from a level 2 or level 1 producer

instant serp power

then you put some ppc on it, and you find out your QS is through the roof

so YT is the key now to open up GOOG like the little ho it is

GOOG loves YT content and some ppc to it

and well the rest is moot

you wanna pop GOOG you develop in their asset and then give them a little dough

and they will send you tons of traffic and pop your map if you have it

all the rest everyone is saying about this and that and seo and whatever

is BS

it's YOUTUBE now or you are not gonna get goog to look on you nicely

now most can't do a youtube video that will ring the phone

so unless you have a good creative staff that can storyline a nice stock photo or video 30 to 60 second web commercial

it dont' matter

but you get a compelling video that expresses the point

u throw it on keyword domains

you buy a little cheap ppc

you rule google for all the keywords you want

it's not rocket science

but you got to be able to show the surfer what they want in 20 seconds and then bang

they call or email or go to order page

so conversions with this formula makes you a ton of money ALL DAY LONG
