page rank and SEO

can you wise domainers tell me how do I improve the page rank of the domains that I hold(they are parked) ? I do not want to develop them by building a site and paying for a hosting fee. I want to get some exposure and eventually sale. What does SEO stand for. search engine optimization?

You cant improve your domain name with out developing it! The best you can do for a parked domain name is choosing the right keywords!

Picking the correct keyword is not easy! You should look into were your traffic is coming from, US, ASIA, INDIA, etc...

US, CANADA, UK = PREMIUM Traffic = Higher Revenue!

SEO = Search Engine Optimization

Yes.
SEO = Search Engine Optimization.

Page rank is determined by links.
You can NOT create links for your parked domains since
it's against almost all parking companies TOS.
Thus, you can NOT improve your parked domains' page rank.

You don't want to develop sites.
You don't want to pay hosting fees.
Basically, you want something for nothing

no development

my goal is to try and sale some domains over the course of the year. It is not that I want to get something for nothing. I want to minimize my input into these domains.

What does SEO stand for. search engine optimization? Correct..

How to increase your PR for parked domains... only if you get links to them from higher PR websites will your PR go up... but it is hard to find websites that will link back to parked domains unless you pay for the link maybe.

Thx
Tom

SEO of parked domains is pointless.

no matter what you do, Google will never approve

the more you try... the harsher the penalties will be

either PARK or DEVELOP

you can't have the best of both worlds

it doesn't work like that

Parking domains is only good if you think you have a winning domain name that no one esle has thought of and will pay good money for.
There wuold be value in leaving a domain sit for a long time and then selling it just like a vintage wine because google looks at old sites favourably. Need to be in it for the long haul though!

Thumbs up Hi

I think I have a suggestion for it though not complete.........

1. Park all the domains.

2. Develop the domain that you wish to build SEO. You can use free hosting offered by certain hosting companies.

3. Build a mini site to the domain that you wish to develop.

4. submit the domain for SEO for just few months.

5. Change the server for the domain and park back the domain again after it has got links.

I am sorry I am a newbie..... I might be wrong. Correct me if I am.

From what I have been gathering in from reading different forums, I think many webmasters try to consider optimizing a website to increase Google PageRank and keyword optimization as the same thing.

Optimizing a website to increase PageRank and optimizing a website to get free traffic from search engines, although these processes are co-existent when in comes to SEO, they should be considered a (2) two separate processes.
