    Exclamation Redirects

What effect does masking have on SEO when redirecting?

I just bought slate roof specialist and the plural. Instead of building new sites, I'm just redirecting to one of my sites.
Would masking the redirect help? Or hurt?

I did a 301. Both sites are already redirected.

I noticed some of my redirects are working, but not 'gripping' today. I have some domains redirected to webpages with different urls (from a webpage builder), usually you can see the domain name in the search bar, but now it just goes through to the webpage and doesn't 'grip'.

Anyone else seeing this? Funny it's not on all my redirects, just some. I'm wondering if teh browser is getting smart and not allowing domain gripping anymore.
