If so how do "fixed" pages survive?
If it does help by updating the page regularly then my next question is, would using an RSS feed count as being updated regularly? Or would i have to stick in a few manual updates every week or so. This wouldn't be an issue but obviously a pain in the backside having to find new info all the time.
Any opinions appreciated. Cheers.
PS: do RSS feeds affect PR etc?

Yes I know this. But what I am trying to find out is. Would an RSS feed fitted to the page count as a regular update or would it harm the pages ranking?
it will not do harm to pr, but I prefer unique content to rss feed.
Also have to make sure that fetching that feed will not slow down the server response and page load time.
