Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!I currently have a few domains that I want to develop into mini-sites. I'm getting familiar with Joomla (once I figured out modules it all made sense) and the question is do search engines notice/rank sites if they have used a template similar to others?
Content and everything would be completely different and unique, but if it's possible to use the same basic template on each site that would save me tons of time.
If it does cripple the site, anyone else have suggestions for making building multiple sites a little easier? aside from whypark.com
If your content is unique, that is the key. You can use the search engine friendly links functionality in Joomla, to help make the pages friendlier too. Template should not make any difference.
Make sure to make use of page titles and meta information on each of your articles too.

that's what I figured. I personally don't care if most of my sites look the same (not going to make a difference to the people viewing them as they won't be networked together in anyway)
