I am experienced in SEO for normal sites. Recently have taken a project of site made using wordpress
I am totally new to wordpress bloggin would like to know if there is any good resource or article or whatever to learn how to SEO a wordpress site. ?

Wordpress is GREAT for seo! Honestly just change your permalinks up a little and throw a different theme on there and italicize/bold your keywords in your post..and your seo'd haha. Okay, so that's not all you can do but that's a good start

wordpress is nice for seo, not great. it needs some adjustments to really flourish... usually there are plugins that can provide the functionality you need.
