I was always wondering how all these websites i come accross offer to the user the ability to surf the contents of the website in the language of their choice.
Are these websites translated manually by hired people or are there any website translation software that are used for this process?
Does anyone know how it's been done and where i can find these translators? (people or software)
Thanks
No semi-serious businesses would use software to translate the content of their websites. Very often smaller guys would hire amateurs to do the translation (mostly due to cost consideration). You will probably find a lot of these so-called "translators" on forums or freelance exchange websites. The truth is: very few large corporations render identical content in more than a couple of languages; more often this is taken care of locally by their branches or subsidiaries which offer products and/or services customized to their countries.
Profoundly influenced by #Bauhaus, @Nameslave unrepentantly embraces #Minimalism in his #multimedia portfolio. His early works include an experimental adaptation of Chekhov’s Cherry Orchard inspired at least partly by Robert Fripp. His totally irrelevant M.Ed. dissertation examines Organizational Culture and Change Management.
