From $2.00 a day to 0, what the HELL just happened

Hi,
I have a domain, breast-reduction-surgery.org. For the past 2 weeks its been making $1.50-$3.00 a day. The last 3 days it barely gets 10 cents. How could this happen?

Assuming it was link traffic. A key site removed your link?

I highly doubt that sharpy. Our traffic are all from links and it looks like we still have a good amount. I don't think anything has changed, other then me making a lot less $$ of of it.

sharpy is right. you either lost a good link, or you lost a good SE spot.

The $ comes from the advertisers. The advertisers can run out of funds (different services have different ways of dealing with this), they can change their marketing strategy to de-emphasize search advertising, they can decide to restrict their traffic to exclude content-based traffic (as compared to search traffic), etc. You can have high $ clicks for a while that become small $ clicks.

Has there been a change in traffic? The loss of a good link(s) should show up in that part of your stats.

Byalik, The domain is soaking in spam links http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=lin...=20&fl=0&x=wrt

Those guestbook links are worthless anymore...they simply have no value other than the bit of traffic ..the search engines simply devalue those links.

Did you traffic drop off also ?

HiOsilover is correct .. You probably lost an Advertiser or they maxed out their ad budgetr

Didnt you pick this off a drop a couple months ago ?
