Is anyone else excited for this? This could be pretty awesome pretty quickly.Looks like they only pay $100 max per referral though, so that's kind of annoying.
Looks like we can also earn $1.00 for each FireFox install. Did I miss something? Did Google buy all or part of Firefix now?

Sweet! Im was about to start a google adsense today![]()
That is good news, but from what I understand is the person you reffered has to earn $100+ in order for you to get the $100+ bonus, what happens if they earn less then $100?
yeah, I was wondering about that too cs-admin
If they earn less you don't get anything apparently. What's worse is that all you can ever earn is a one time $100. Yahoo should use this opportunity to make a flat % affiliate program. I'd prefer that for sure over the Google version.
I found out why they pay for FireFix installs. It comes with the google toolbar installed.![]()
Where is the FireFox install program? I don't see it within my account, is it somewhere else?
I can't see the Firefox option either...
i can see and access the firefox tab without a problem. it is there, as is the banners, code, etc.
It's under referrals as a tab directly under "Show referrals in: [English (US)]" on the left toward the top.
I think that this is great and am looking forward to a similar move by yahoo![]()
Cogito, ergo sum!
I found the reason it isnt there for me:
(From the Adsense Blog)
In addition, if you are a U.S. publisher, for Firefox with Google Toolbar referrals we will pay up to $1 per referral the first time a user installs Firefox. (We hope to make this available soon to international publishers.)
Thanks for the tip 007.
I to hope Yahoo installs a flat % referral program.
I would much rather opt for that![]()
I don't think it's so great...why would I want to stimulate competition in my niches...'cmon people!
It's only salt in the wound that they pay you so little for increasing your own competition. I could easily see bids come down as the number of adsense publishers increase...
google has more inventory then publishers at this stage. they need a larger audienece....
they should of been recruiting a long time ago... the launch of yahoo's publisher network must have them going a little crazy as well.

The bids are already down , almost everyone gets the same traffic as before for a nickel now.Originally Posted by E-Promote
I was more excited before I realized the $100 cap per referral, and seeminly $100 minimum per referral as well....Still better than nothing. I might test it out, but $100 isn't all that great of an incentive. If it were a flat % forever, then that's different. Way different. That's how it should be. I hope Yahoo retaliates with that option.

I think the $1 per Firefox install (assuming international publishers can use it eventually) will be more profitable for me. I serve thousands of Turkish visitors per day and since one of the languages Google uses is Turkish, I could see myself making $50 per day on Firefox installs alone...
I've already made 2 conversions on my site, with 67 clicks however :L
