Re: AdSense Testing Cost Per Action

Instead of just clicking to get paid... the clickor needs to perform an action on the advetisers site, like buy something or fill in a form... Then you get paid.

Sounds like a good idea but a lot of times I may shop around before buying, this requires impulse purchases...

Maybe a hybrid system can be implimented.

Re: AdSense Testing Cost Per Action

Exactly, if lets say you go to my ecommerce siteto Buy Taser Guns and you do buy a taser gun, there would be a code inserted in the thank you section of the page telling google that this customer had gone in and bought something using google cost per action and bam you get paid $10.00 per completed sale.

However to clarify, it's not always a sale. It may be an expression of interet for example. Such as "Fill out this form and our sales department will call you."

Re: AdSense Testing Cost Per Action

i would vote for a hybrid version with ppa and ppc and ppi, but at the same time increasing the ammount you get paid for ppa because its a higher quality form of traffic because they actually do something

Re: AdSense Testing Cost Per Action

It would be cool to get maybe a reduce per click something stupidly low, so every click atleast gets paid like before with the per action on top.

I can see where "fill out this form" could be abused by the retailer, if their receiving many signups and paying $20 a pop, they may want to slow it down by making the forms longer and more complex.

that will turn alot of potential customers off by having to fill out a large form. There are companies paying tons of money to affiliate programs just to have everyone fill out a form. They hope that the ones that do signup cover their costs.

Re: AdSense Testing Cost Per Action

I tried this 2 years ago with Commision Junction and eHarmony. I was TOTALLY ripped off. After sending thousands of people to eHarmony and ZERO signups I got suspicious and did it myself (yes, that is allowed). They still showed zero signups, and their support people had no answers.

In other words, I caught eHarmony and Commission Junction red-handed in the act of fraud.

I would have to see a lot of proof of honesty before trying that again.

Re: AdSense Testing Cost Per Action

So basically its affiliate marketing (as evidenced by the Taser Gun analogy), or a GPT method.
