American.info - getting traffic - now what? - DNForum - Domain Sales, Domain Forum, Domain Appraisals, Domain Registrars

We are now getting 2/3000 hits per day on the site but mainly seems to be bots but revenue is minimal only from adsense - any ideas would be appreciated.

bots? I am sorry bot bots can;t generate that much hits on empty domain. Check from where you are getting traffic first. It is very very very rare to
have .info with typein traffic.

I also own Geography.info where the forum only seems to get porn spam, perhaps I should just leave it and see what happens

It's not exactly an empty domain!

if it is mostly bot traffic then keep working on getting eyeballs...
if you are getting eyeballs....

-check your stats and gather those keywords.
-find products that match those and make landing pages
-link to those pages from within your site (and other sites/pages that are topic related)
-use "emini-malls" (its a ppc product)
-use revenuepilot, google, yahoo, etc.
-try, test, tweek,

check in on it weekly and make changes as you see it is needed.
