domainsponsor dismisses a lot of traffic.. they are really strict about the quality of traffic![]()
Hmmm, ok thanks! Might have to move some of my names back to sedo.... yes, I'm very happy with most of my names @ DS.

You only get paid at DS on impressions for pops, and then only for US traffic. I do not even bother with the pops for most of my domains at DS, as it is not worth the aggravation, and it may reduce your income in the long run. It is much more likely for someone to bookmark your page (and return) if they do not have to run a pop-gauntlet.Originally Posted by mike031
However, you need to keep the difference in counting impressions into account when you compare your results at DS vs. sedo or vs. Fab. You need to adjust your calculated RPM (revenue per 1000 uniques) with DS so that you get an accurate comparison.
As someone else said, focus on the bottom line, revenue, and not the impressions.

Hey guys. Just because your visitor counts are lower at Domainsponsor than another program, that does not mean we are necessarily dismissing traffic. That is just the way we count unique visitors. We do admit our counts are more conservative than other programs.
In the end, we feel all that matters is bottom-line revenue - how much you make at Domainsponsor compared to another program with the same portfolio of domains.
This is, and always has been our primary focus at Domainsponsor. Maximizing publisher revenues.
Domain Sponsor's numbers for "visitors" are very conservative and don't appear to me to really be accurate. They often do pay better, though. I've found that some domains just do better there, while others do much better at sedo, or even TrafficZ. I have one that averaged 60 cent clicks at TrafficZ but only 40 cent clicks at Domain Sponsor and 10 cent clicks at sedo.
