    DS downhill trend

Stats are not updating for a couple hours now.

Heather does not respond to direct, very detailed email, 10 days ago. SHe has no excuse to float this one. Blatantly ignores email.

I have ususally been sticking up for and supporting DS but when emails go ignored and the trend starts to veer downward, I have to consider the alternatives. DS needs to "restore" there system to the previous state that worked, and make a better effort at customer service. Take care of your existing customers before taking in new customers. My patience runs out at new years, plain and simple.

    Thanks for the watch.

Split mine between sedo and Fabulous. Will see which one does best. Shame about DS. I was just starting to get some good traffic and revenue from them.

I am on vacation this week. Greetings from Ixtapa, Mexico

Michael Song, who is head of tech support at DS, is also on vacation this week. However, they usually do better than 10 days. I suggest you resend your request or try the phone.

My traffic and earnings took a perfectly normal and expected holiday dive. Until Jan 3 or 4, I will not really know if this is mostly holiday effect or some negative trend. You really have to expect many people to take some time off during the holidays, and it impacts the traffic and income. This is not new.

hey, although i respect your thoughts and assumptions most of the time, i would have to disagree with you on this one for few reasons:

    1) it just happened so that I work for a company that is an ecommerce niche market and we expected orders to increase from 20th of dec till possibly first week of new year. It has actually increased our expectations. In adwords and overture we have increased our bid to about 25% and so have our competitors and increased daily budget.

Now I have several domains, not just one, which caters to that specific market. I noticed increase drop in revenue (not to mention that after repeated inquires to ds, who have failed to answer my concern about traffic stats not matching with awstats and ds stats). Now from my domains I can see my ecommerce site listed on the very top but a huge drop in revenue from that domain?

    2) this is just one domain I am talking about. I have several that caters different product industry. Same trend. I also sent email way before the vacation even started. No reply yet.

I have increased my portfolio, daily uniques, nothing seems to be working now. Not to mention I have begun to believe that uniques look fishy now which in turn eats up clicks as well.

I hope someone will finally come up and respond to concerns so many members have here.

It is very normal for earnings to take a dive starting dec 24th.... everywhere.

    Re: DS downhill trend

Do you mean pretender instead of contender? Revenues are down for all ppc during the holidays.

The customer service has been good for me. I would try calling DS or sending an email to oversee.net.

Revenue today has been very good.

    Re: DS downhill trend

Yes, everybody definately should expect a dip in rev and traffic during holiday. Thats a no brainer, and wasn't why I started this thread. I sent Ms Heather a detailed email with account info, conflicting stats from the same day, all right from there own database, and asked for an explanation why I was shorted( 50%) for that date. The traffic showed the hits, the individual domains totals showed the revenue, but the daily accumulative revenue mis calced the total, and thats how they payed. The first three domains for that day totaled more than what they paid. I simply asked this heather for an expalnation. She , point blank, ignored the email, and the public posts since. That is one of my complaints. DS has been a godsend people. No doubt about it. But the ignoring of legitimate emails is one thing, and it baffles me that they kind of have this attitude of denial when it comes down to stat errors. They are there. We dont make this stuff up. Im tempted to post the stats and revenue quandry right here to show what I am talking about. They have denied the error previously but I tell you that every one of you would see this, and ask for an explanation. I dont want to have to take out my calculator and add all the individual domain revenue to make sure the system paid me right.
