Fabulous 4.0 PPC second invite

I just got a second invite to upgrade to Fabulous 4.0 PPC..in it was

The majority of our clients have upgraded their portfolios to this
new program and are receiving fantastic results

.
Since I'm sure many of "Majority" are members here I was wonder how the results are? Pros and Cons.

Highly recommended.
My CTR nearly tripled.

They've had some problems recently which caused low $/click but it's fixed now and they're supposed to compensate for the losses.

Go for it. I revenues almost doubled for the names which were on sedo when i switched them to Fabulous Premium 4.0. No lookbacks

I still dont like Fabulous for most names simply because they dont allow your to target your own name and argue with you about what your traffic is best towards.

Same here... my listings are REALLY off target, and ctr is low. Pay per clik is better than sedo, but overall it is the same for me because of poor ctr. I still don't like seeing 10 results totally unrelated to subject, even after I agued with fabulous to change it category. (Even in categories, links aren't appropriate... I have a creditcards.com typo, which is rightfully categorized in the credit cards category.. well.. not 1 of the 10 results is related to credit cards.)

Fabulous doesnt have control over that. Advertisers can put their ads wherever they want as long as they bid out the other ones.

I do agree that sometimes the categories are way off and you can't really convince Fabulous about a better category.

i'v been using fabulous for quiet sometime now.. the new 4.0 program is without a doubt right up there with domainsponsor, in my opinion it is slightly better because it has more attractive landing pages which result in better conversions and the sub-categories feature is really neat.... payouts for casino, adult, finance and so on are the highest out there... if your traffic is well targetted (type-in/typo) then fabulous is the place to be... it's definetly worth a try, you can always go back to whatever other ppc you were using previously.... experimenting is great, you might just double if not triple your revenues and it only takes a second to make the switch, so.. why not? good luck.

The "high level" support guys there don't work on weekends, but they always have someone there that replies to emails and try to solve the problem if he can.

I agree with your opinion, Cyphix.
But the domain I mentioned is not the kind of fluctuating on revenue for a long time.

The problem has been happening to my domain.
CTR is normal but earnings/per click is 70% off now.. :huh:
Did really they compensate for the losses?

I have some names on the new afternic with fabulous also, but what I see is relevant adds do well, but there optimization on misspells doesnt seem to be working ie": qaud is a misspell for quads as in atv, but no adds for atv's will this correct itself in time because i have several misspells, and even domains that arent misspells dont seem to be optimizing

Fab 4.0 seems to be an improvement, and, at least in my experience, it puts Fab closer to DomainSponsor, but I still earn a considerably higher RPM (revenue per 1000 unique impressions) at DS. My early results with Fab 4.0 yields around $20 to $24 RPM vs. $40 with DS. Of course, with a different portfolio, your numbers will be different. Fab seems to do especially well with casino and gambling domains.

hiOsilver, how would you categorize your portfolio (generally speaking) and what's the traffic targetted towards, mostly type-ins/typo or anything else?

in my opinion fabulous is right up there with domainsponsor this days for quality traffic, i wonder what domainsponsor is gonna roll out next... can't wait! this should be good... same goes out for the rest of the ppc places, things are getting pretty tight

Anyone has an adult portfolio at both Fab and DS? My Adult domains don't do real good at sedo... does ok at fabulous.. didn't try DS yet.. anyone tried Fab/DS to compare? Thanks!
