    Fabulous "Dark Blue" Advertising

I would like to get some information concerning your experience with this Fabulous.com option. Does it help? Costs?

    Thanks,
    DD

You mean for parked domains? I have gotten some nice commisions from them in the past.

fabulous 4.0 ppc program is using google ad's.... it pays very nicely for some keywords but then again it pays pennies for some very popular ones which is odd, roar on the other hand pays almost 10x for those same keywords so you really have to test out both and stick with whatever pays more of course.

if you already hold a "wholesale account" then you can manually switch up your domains anytime you please between the 4.0 program, roar ppc, and dark blue.

click on "edit" then third option down under the "redirection" select "dark blue" and then click on choose advertiser..... once you submit your changes your domain will be manually reviewed and either approved or disapproved to use those ad's.

Uhmm.. Well i actually let one of the guys over there handle the setup etc for me.

The only problem i had with them was the constant denial of categories that i thought were completely relevant.. It can be frustrating at first.. But you get used to what they classify as suitable for whatever kind of domain.

    Re: Fabulous "Dark Blue" Advertising

domaindirk, I just switched to fab 4.0 my initial results are i am earning more than the other parking services, at least 50 percent of my names arent optimized yet because of low traffic, but I would say it is definately worth it.

    Re: Fabulous "Dark Blue" Advertising

once you point your domains to fabulous you have the option of selecting a category for the ppc ad's and submitting a request to use it specifically and not the generic portal page... once approved, ad's specifically from that niche will be displayed, there is no optimization involved.

    Re: Fabulous "Dark Blue" Advertising

I think others have already answered, but since I was asked directly.

Yes, I had the dark blue advertising option.... I am not yet sure about 4.0 as I just switched to it, and so far I have not seen any dark blue commisions since then. Have to look into when I get some time.

    Re: Fabulous "Dark Blue" Advertising

mikeo31, I might be missing something because I am new to fabulous, I had them upgrade a couple hundred domains to 4.0, when I first checked thurs the adds were mostly relative with correct links, now a lot of them have nothing to do with domain name, I thought it was part of there optimization process I guess not.

    Re: Fabulous "Dark Blue" Advertising

Yeah actually that was one problem i noticed with the premoum v4.. was that it would come up with irrelevant links.. and i mean totally irrelevant.. some adult names of mine were coming up with stuff like "childrens parties" etc..

So i swapped the ones that were coming up with stuff like that back to the normal version.
