    Re: fabulous

Well, the first thing is the rpm (revenue per 1000 unique impressions): you are earning an rpm of just over $25. That is very good. You must have good domains. The conversion rate is not as important as your rpm. It all depends on your domains. Some domains have low ctr (click thru ratio, which is what I think you mean by conversion rate). What really counts is the bottom line: Earnings. To make comparisons meaningful, you need to divide the earnings by the traffic (uniques). That gives you rpm.

The low percentage of impressions that result in uniques is often surprising, but I have seen this for many reasons on many domains.

    Re: fabulous

Fabulous is a messy place as far as I have experienced. I also had the same issue at fabulous i.e. my 'impressions' almost 15 to 30 times higher tham my 'uniques'..... Don't know why though.

I haven't tried others except sedo which is kind of average I think.

    Just my opinion.

    Thanks,

    Re: fabulous

I have lots of casino/gambling domains also. I know people say DS is very good for the gambling domains along with fabulous.

Has anyone ever used DomainHop for gambling/casino domains?
If so what are their ppc rates?

    Thanks,

    Thanks,
Here are the reasons that I know of, based on my experience and emails to various PPC services, for low uniques vs. impressions:

    1. When someone comes back to a site multiple times, the ppc service only counts this once .i.e. unique visitor within a 24 hour period. After all, if someone is checking things out, they can go back and forth many times, landing on the landing page over and over again.

    2. Automated hits. I have had very strange situations at Fab and elsewhere where I get 1000 impressions (or more) in a day for a domain, but only 1 unique. When they checked, they said that it was an IP of a satellite that kept pinging my landing page over and over.

    Anyone else know of others?

I think search engine robots also make the impression counts go up at fabulous. cause i have a lot of domains that get indexed their and show google/etc for that day and get 80+ impressions with 0 uniques.

    Re: fabulous

Fabulous categorizes all domains which in essense protects the sponsors and cuts revenue for the domain owner. Say for instance I have degrees.net it would be linked to educational information rather than financial information or something that might sell better than that particular product. The really bad part about fabulous is there is no SEARCH BOX! What's up with that? Domain sponsor optimizes domains but you end up with some really sucky sponsors (even I wouldn't want to click on them) after a while and the same may happen for fabulous as well. Domain Sponsor might be worth it if they would allow anyone into their Premier program but apparently they don't want people actually making money unless they are fighting for their business.

It's gotten worse lately too. They need to fix this because it throws everything off when you're trying to actually evaluate a domain.

    Re: fabulous

I'm in the DS premier program and wasn't too happy with it. I was actually surpised that sedo gave me the best results, but I think it had to do with DS only counting US traffic and the rest is basically wasted. I believe alot of it had to do with sedo's page layout also. Besides casino results, fabulous from my experience can't match/beat DS or Sedo payouts per click because both those programs are tied to Google, which has the highest bid prices.

Everyones best bet is to spend time trying each place out themselves and moving domains around based on their results. I use three ppc parking programs for my entire portfolio based on where each domain does the best at. One place maybe good for one type of traffic and another better for a different category. Just my two cents.

I also seem to do well with Sedo. I think for european traffic Sedo is far better than DS, Fab etc.

    Re: fabulous

There are a a couple of major problems with Fabulous...

    1. They don't have search box as clemzonguy mentioned above.
    2. Their links under "Suggested Links" or "Further Reading" (depends on the style you choose) is totally unrelated to the domain/category
The worst part is...those links don't work...they display the same page again and again (Ex: Check http://www.homebusinessinfo.com The links display the same search results again and again doesnt matter which "Suggested Link" you click)
